30 minutes of walking near the library today. Took the walk/bike path on the other side of the highway.

I walked 30 minutes to pick up my son this afternoon, but I also did 45 minutes of tae kwon do tonight.

I began a new exercise program last night, based on the book You: On A Diet. My goal is 30 minutes of walking a day, which I can break up into sections of no less than 10 minutes. The other part of this is to tell someone about it each time, so I'll be posting little"walking updates" periodically. Last night I took the baby to the library. That was 40 minutes. Tonight I did 35.

New thingyPosted: 28 Mar 2007 09:51 AM CDTI've just rediscovered the wonder of del.icio.us, and I've learned of a way to automatically put whatever I add to del into my blog. I do this using a dummy blog and FeedBurner, so I thought I'd make a little introductory post explaining it. Thanks to Jenn2.0 for reminding me about del, and to Anand Kishore and Colin Surprenant for the how-tos! |

Books read in February 2007:
The Rover - Fun and silly fantasy about a halfling librarian who becomes and unwitting adventurer and hero. I started the sequel, The Destruction of the Books, but was unimpressed and stopped after a few pages.
Sophie's World - A novel about the history of philosophy. Very odd, as you might imagine. It begins with the questions "Who are you?" and "Where does the world come from?" and answers them in some surprising ways.
Reaper Man (reread) - Still my favorite of the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett. Reading it made me realize that I really want to read the whole series from the beginning. *sigh* the "To Read" list grows.

I logged in to Blogger this morning because I was concerned that many of my recent posts hadn't made it to the blog. I found that they had gone through, but were being saved as drafts rather than published entries. I ended up publishing more than a dozen items dating back to the beginning of February!
There are two possible culprits for this. I recently changed from the "Old Blogger" to the "New Blogger", and at some point, my blog was flagged as a possible "Spam Blog". Funny. You'd think a spammer would post more than twice a week. Stupid robots.
Anyway, I'm asking my loyal readers (all 9-15 of you, depending on the week) to go back and look at anything you might have missed, and I promise to get all this straightened out so that I can continue to bring you the very best in pointless inanity. Thanks for listening!

Suggestion: if you're going to drive like a jerk, don't do it while you're driving the company truck.
