This morning, in the space of an hour and fifteen minutes, I played three songs on trumpet, played one on bells, and sang one with the choir. Tonight at five, I get to do it all over again!

Went bowling with a group from church tonight and shot a very respectable 110 average over three games. Almost makes of miss the Saturday morning league I was in as a kid.

The Family Dog by The Sophisticates from The Aristocrats CD is a very bad thing to have stuck in one's head. Those who've seen the film know why.

V for Vendetta is a beautifully shot, intense, and thought-provoking film, very faithful to the spirit of the graphic novel. If you haven't seen it yet, do.

Went to Big Brother's school today for a demonstration of some of the things he does in gym, art, and music classes. The parachute brought back memories.

My polling place is a school with really beautiful murals painted on the lockers. Here's a particularly nice one.

Well, my first bike ride of the year didn't last long. Less than half a mile before I blew a tire, and of course I didn't have a spare. Oh, well. The walk will do me some good.
