Raw Food

We've been to the White River Fish Market, widely regarded as the best seafood in Tulsa, twice now. Each time I've tried something new to me. A few months ago I was underwhelmed by frog legs, but tonight it was raw oysters. Those were very tasty.

For this year's Renaissance Faire, we're planning a labyrinth. Today we had a trial run. It's just sticks and string, but it was an awful lot of fun.

Late Night Stroll

Kim's mom Jo and I took the kids to Steak 'n Shake for ice cream tonight. It was a nice walk, but we got home a bit after bedtime, I'm afraid.

Yesterday I had a Guitar Hero program at the library, using the XBox, which has to be returned downtown today. Last night we played a little at home, and this morning the boys are trying out their stage moves.

Fiesta!

BB sang and danced with his class tonight at the school's Hispanic Festival. The chorus of their song was, "Todo yo que quiero es paz en el mundo, en mi corazón, y en mi familia." Translated, that's, "All that I want is peace in the world, in my heart, and in my family." Beautiful.

One of the nicer things about our apartment complex is the views. The leasing office building has an observation tower on the fourth floor from which you can see most of South Tulsa. Here you can see our carport just to the right of the roof below.
