New Bike

A good friend pointed me to this used GT Vantara hybrid a couple of weeks ago, and I picked it up today for a song. It's in great shape, and will be a much more comfortable ride than my road bike for commuting.

Polly's Yarn Stash

One of our library volunteers has been told by her doctor that she can't knit anymore. She is giving me a lifetime's worth of accumulated yarn. More than 50 paper boxes full! Here it is stacked against the back wall of our storage unit.

Family Music

My brother Jay is visiting my folks in Springfield, MO with us this weekend. LB has been fascinated with Jay's guitar, so he pulled it out to play tonight. LB decided to take the percussion part, but in a few minutes, Jay let him play on his own.
